Welcome to our new site. We hope you will find it helpful and informative. We want to thank a few people who have been instrumental in producing it. Amie Forest, our web designer and graphic artist, for her amazing expertise, skill, and passion. Karl Forest, for excellent behind the scenes computer work. Sue Doupe’, our photographer, who shot our professional photos, and was so positive and helpful. Finally, to our staff, Peni, Alison, Nerissa and Whitney as well as many others, who have given essential feedback and helped shape the site to fit our clinic.
Interestingly, this week while we were birthing a new site, a wonderful healer, teacher and colleague died. Dr. George Goodheart, the founder of Applied Kinesiology, died at the age of 90. His ideas, concepts and techniques have shaped our practice from inception. We have been deeply touched by him and know that he has in fact touched thousands of lives and created miracles across the world. In our world, he has been worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize, and in yours perhaps this is the first you are hearing of him.
Our professions of Chiropractic and Naturopathy are deeply rooted with such rich histories of men and women who have spent their lives learning and teaching the art of healing. Dr. Goodheart was one such man and we are so very grateful for his life.
The heading at the top of our site says: “The healing begins here.” We can almost imagine Dr.Goodheart’s response….. “So enough already, let’s get started!”
